Description

Messier 66 (NGC 3627) is a spiral galaxy 31 million light years away in the constellation of Leo. Along with M65 and NGC 3628 it forms the 'Leo Triplet'.

M66 was photographed between 21 February and 2 May 2022.  Capture details are as follows:

Telescope: TEC 140
Camera: QSI 690
Filters: Astrodon
Mount: 10 Micron GM2000HPS

Lum: 41 x 600s
Red: 42 x 300s
Green 40 x 300s
Blue: 42 x 300s
Ha: 12 x1200s

A total of 21 hours and 10 minutes exposure.
